Original sketches and a furniture sample by the world-renowned Slovenian architect Josip Plečnik from the private collection of Dr. Damjan Prelovšek. The exhibition presents several architectural designs that Josip Plečnik dedicated to his native Ljubljana, mostly dating from the period after his work at Prague Castle ended. Drawing was the starting point of Plečnik’s architecture. Remarkable was his natural ability for graphic expression; with just a few delicate lines, he could convey the essence of his ideas. Even Le Corbusier expressed his admiration for him in this regard.
