The creative portfolio of the Ostrava-based “post-sculptor” Šárka Mikesková is highly diverse. We can appreciate her work as a demonstration of pure creativity, transcending the boundaries of professional sculpture and reaching into the language of objects. Mikesková’s art integrates a novel range of formal tools into traditionally conceived sculptural forms, enabling her to communicate with the viewer across a spectrum stretching from banal topics to existential or philosophical questions. This exhibition aims to demonstrate this wide variety of creative approaches, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in Mikesková’s unconventional three-dimensional art.
