Our Society of Friends has a tradition reaching back more than a century, following in the footsteps of the Ostrava Friends of Art Club (1912) and the House of Art Society (1924). The Society’s aim is to support and promote art, artists and the collections of the Gallery throughout the Czech Republic and abroad. Anybody can become a friend of the Gallery.
Every year before Christmas, we hold an evening meeting for members of the Society of Friends, combined with a guided tour of exhibitions and a creative workshop. For families with children, we offer a creative workshop on a Saturday in summer, held in the gardens of the House of Art.
After receiving your payment we will issue a membership card for you. You can collect your membership card at the cash desk in the House of Art on your next visit. Current Friends can renew their membership automatically simply by paying the annual fee for the calendar year.
