The opening will taken place on Tuesday 17 March at 5 p.m.
This exhibition presents an important new acquisition by the gallery to mark 100 years since the House of Art was first opened to the public. In 2025, thanks to funding from the Moravian-Silesian Region, the gallery acquired two graphic pieces by Pablo Picasso, one of the most important figures in modern art. Picasso had previously been represented in the gallery’s collection, but in the 1990s the works were returned to their original owners as part of the restitution process. The exhibition situates these two prints within the broader context of the Spanish artists from the Paris school , whose works rank among the most valuable items in the gallery’s international collection.
